The records of the North Carolina State University Department of Horticultural Science contain newsletters, budget information, academic and administrative reports, departmental publications, memoranda, and information regarding departmental programs and events. A significant amount of the collection consists of material relating to the J. C. Raulston Arboretum. Also included are publications produced with the North Carolina Commercial Flower Growers' Association. The paper records range in date from 1924 to 2010, but the bulk fall from the 1950s to 1990s.
